I worked at AT&T for 35 years before retiring. All that time CWA represented the Union eligible employees. In my "twilight" years, CWA negotiated "Card Check" into the contract with AT&T. There were no "dire consequences", as some detractors are now predicting. In fact, Card Check also enabled Cingular Wireless employees (now AT&T) to choose Union representation, to everyone's benefit.
It's high time to rid our nation of oppressive abuses to Labor, by enacting the legislation (HR 1409 and S 560). Tell your Senators and Representatives to join their many colleagues who have already cosponsored these bills.
